Ronafix admixture improves the physical properties of sand/ cement mortar mixes, making them stronger and more durable. Water permeability of Ronafix Mix A and Ronafix Mix D is extremely low, providing excellent resistance to frost. Ronafix Mix D has excellent resistance to ingress of carbon dioxide gas, ensuring long term protection against reinforcement corrosion. Typical compressive strength of Ronafix Mix D is ≥ 50N/mm2, flexural and tensile strengths are considerably better than unmodified mortar. The compressive modulus is similar to that of lower strength concrete, reducing stress on the parent concrete. Properties imparted by Ronafix admixture remain unaffected for many decades and accelerated ageing tests suggest that flexural and tensile strengths remain high after more than 100 years.
