Premseal self-adhesive waterproofing membranes comprise a polymeric film coated with a polymer-modified bitumen adhesive. A number of different backing films are available to provide the required level of protection. Low temperature grades are also available and can be applied at below normal temperatures or to “green” concrete. Uses include waterproofing foundation, basements, roofs and plaza decks, lift shafts, pits, service reservoir roofs, car park decks and subways.
Premseal GMA is suitable for gas proofing on landfill sites, radon affected areas, redeveloped contaminated sites such as town gas works and tunnels.
Premseal 100 is designed for internal and external tanking to prevent ingress of water into buildings and to protect building structures, culverts, etc. from the effect of chlorides, sulphates etc. in ground water and soil.
