Parex Granatech is fully compliant with the relevant parts of BS 7533 and is an easy to use slurry applied jointing mortar ideal for use with all types of paving units in hard landscaping projects.

It is ready for on-site mixing and only requires the measured addition of water.
The pre-blended mortar is specially formulated to meet the requirements of architects and engineers requiring compliance with the relevant parts of BS 7533
It forms part of the Parex Streetscape range of mortars and should be used in conjunction with Parex FBC bedding mortar and Bond Plus priming mortar.
Granatech can be speedily applied over large areas for the fast and cost-effective jointing of all paving units wherever there is a large proportion of jointing material to paving unit.

It is ideal for use in trafficked areas, such as town and city centre hard landscaping and public realm schemes.

Granatech is also available in an environment-friedly ECO formula which uses a minimum of 20 per cent recycled aggregate. The material is manufactured using advanced drying processes which use less energy and make it lighter to transport. Granatech ECO is BS7533-compliant and achieves the same modulus and strength as conventional Granatech

Granatech achieves a typical final compressive strength of 48 N/mm² but can be trafficked by pedestrians at 2hrs and vehicular traffic at 6hrs.
Parex Mortars are manufactured under a quality system conforming to BS EN ISO 9001:2008.

The material  is also available as BS7533-compliant a rapid Granatech Fine RS version which is quick setting and ideal for situations where early opening of hard landscaped areas is required.

*Indicative figure only. Minimum bond strengths are prescribed within BS7533 (Part 7) but their attainment is a function of both the mortar characteristics, the nature of the stone and its surface profile. Accordingly, bond strength figures quoted can only be indicative. As a service to customers, Parex can provide test results for individual materials where samples are made available for laboratory testing.
