Puraflex Tank VOC membrane is a high performance hydrocarbon and chemical resistant barrier with exceptional resistance to a wide range of pollutants including hydrocarbons, industrial chemicals, toxic waste, natural and radioactive gases. The Puraflex Tank VOC membrane is generally used within foundation construction, predominantly to prevent the transmission of VOCs and ground gases. The self-adhesive properties of the membrane allow it to be bonded both horizontally and vertically to suitably primed substrates including concrete, masonry and steel.

  • High performance membrane for protection of buildings against hydrocarbons, VOCs and ground gases
  • Provides additional waterproofing protection to the structure as part of an overall waterproofing system
  • Robust membrane construction with excellent resistance to both puncturing and tearing
  • Extensively tested with a depth of performance data supported by the Cordek Puraflex Permeation Modeller

The use of the Puraflex Tank VOC Membrane is suggested where combined VOC, ground gas protection and damp proofing is required. The membrane can be installed both horizontally and vertically onto suitably primed substrates including concrete, masonry and steel.

Suitable for use in conjunction with the Puraflex VOC Membrane and Puraflex DPC for the protection against the ingress of VOC’s, methane, carbon dioxide, radon and damp. All surfaces that the membrane is applied to should be primed using the Puraflex Primer prior to installation.
